Where in the world are patients suffering from MVID?
MVID is a rare genetic disease affecting patients worldwide. We have created this map as a visual representation of the location of patients across the globe. All entries are displayed only with your permission, and are anonymized for first name and approximate age, taken from your contact list entry.
The entry will show an approximate age as we only collect the patient's year of birth and not the month of birth. This is sufficient for researchers for this purpose, so don't worry if your card entry doesn't reflect the patient's actual age. This is quite normal.
When you appear on the map, literally, it lets us know where you are for research studies.
